About Elite
Each player creates a character by choosing a gender, race (human, dwarf, elf, etc), and class. Every character has capabilities defined by six ability scores. The abilities are Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma.
Every player is a member of a class. Class broadly describes a character’s career choice; each class can do a specific thing that other classes can’t do. This way, we ensure all players need to communicate and roleplay together to stay alive and well and maintain their stats.
Elite focuses on a player character’s progression through the game. A character starts at 1st level and advances in level by adventuring and gaining experience points (XP). Characters begin as fairly weak and untrained. When a sufficient amount of experience is obtained, the character levels up, achieving the next stage of character development. Such an event usually increases the character’s abilities, attributes, and statistics.
Currency
Coins are the roleplay currencies we use in roleplay games. We earn coins by rewards, leveling up, winning in combat, trading “selling the roleplay items that we create using the system” with other players, and working at any of the land facilities.
Farming
The elite farming system allows players to gather ingredients and plant/harvest any kind of farm field.
How does it work?
You click the field and they get a menu with the items to farm, for example, let us say [peppers] or whatever items you want to list in the menu to plant, and then it will ask for the required ingredients for farming, for example:
Pepper requires the following ingredients for planting:
Seeds: 2, fertilizer: 1, water: 2, and dirt: 1
Plant it? [Yes] [No]
If you click [Yes], the system will check if you have the correct amounts in your pouch for each of the required ingredients. So players gather the required amount of ingredients and begin to farm. Farming consists of 3 stages (plant, harvest, and reset). How long it takes to harvest depends on the plan. When the field says harvest, you can click the field again to receive your item.
If you don’t have the required amounts of ingredients, the system will display in local chat what you are missing so you can gather.
Ex: You need to have 2 units of seeds, you have 0.
However, this is an advanced farming system, and it checks for many things other than required ingredients. It also checks if you are in the correct class, health/stamina, level, and if you can farm successfully based on any of your abilities and the difficulty class of the field you are trying to farm.
Production
Production applies to any machine or item that is used to produce another item. This may be a stove, blender in a kitchen, a grinder for a farmer, etc.
Chores & Tools
While in progress chores and the tools needed to complete the chores will provide experience points.
Combat and Weapons
Elite allows both melee and range combat, and comes with its special melee, range, and shield scripts that use advanced/unique damage calculation functions based on “the player character’s race/class abilities and weapon base “melee/range”. As a player with a weapon, you can change everything, and damage is calculated based on the weapon dice you choose for each weapon base and type, plus the player’s strength/dexterity ability. Please understand that melee weapons (use strength) while range weapons (use dexterity). Hit points and dice: Your character’s hit points define how tough your character is in combat and other dangerous situations. Your hit points are determined by your hit dice (short for hit point dice). At level one, your character has 1 hit die, which is determined by your class.
