Every character belongs to a race, the most common “default” player character races are humans. Your race increases one or more of your ability scores. Races provide racial bonuses to the character, while classes distinguish the gameplay experience. Class determines how you play, and race gives you bonuses.

There are two race types (standard and special)
Standard races are available for all players. Players can choose a standard race using a command that opens a drop-down menu with all the pre-defined races listed in the database table.
Special races are only given to players by the system owners/admins using special boards and HUDs.
